About Ocean Gravity Dive Center

Ocean Gravity Dive Center is an SSI dive centre in Sanur, a five-minute walk from the main beach. Karoline, who came from Switzerland and speaks German and English, runs it with Putu, a lead instructor from north Bali with more than 30 years underwater.

Groups are kept to four divers of similar experience per guide. Day trips cover the island: Nusa Penida by speedboat, Padang Bai's Blue Lagoon and Jepun, Gili Tepekong and Mimpang off Candidasa, Amed's Jemeluk Bay, Tulamben's Liberty, Coral Garden and Drop Off, and the walls of Menjangan Island.

SSI courses run from Basic Diver and Open Water to Advanced, Stress and Rescue and specialties such as Nitrox, with pool sessions in a large pool next to the centre.
