About Joro Dive Center

Joro Dive Center is a family-run SSI dive shop in central Amed, on Bali's east coast, open since May 2025. Made Joro, who was born in Amed, runs it with a French dive instructor on site, and the team speaks English, French and Indonesian.

Courses run from Try Scuba to Divemaster, through Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and SSI specialties. Fun dives go from the shore or the shop's own boat to sites around Amed, Tulamben and Kubu, among them the Japanese Shipwreck, Jemeluk Bay, the Amed Pyramids and the USAT Liberty.

The shop shares its building with the family's warung, which serves grilled fish. It also runs snorkeling and fishing trips, sunrise and sunset cruises, and boat transfers to the Gili Islands.
