Hi, I’m Yves 👋
You could say diving runs in my blood. I come from a family of divers, so my passion for the ocean started early. In fact, I was named after the legendary explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, a name that has always inspired me to seek adventure beneath the surface.
Over the years, I’ve explored dive sites across Asia and beyond, with Indonesia holding a special place in my heart as my favorite destination. Each dive has only deepened my respect for the ocean and my curiosity about its hidden worlds.
Outside of the water, I’ve worked in tech and product design, building digital experiences for fast-paced startups. Now, I’m combining those skills with my lifelong connection to diving to create Scubalo: a platform made for divers, by divers.
My goal with Scubalo is to save you time, inspire your adventures, and eventually connect you with tools (like the Scubalo app) that make your dive planning effortless.
