About Abyss Dive Center Bali

Abyss Dive Center Bali is a French diving school in Amed, on the east coast of Bali, open since November 2016. It works with the French federation FFESSM and the instructors' association ANMP, and teaches French levels (CMAS) alongside SSI courses.

Drift dives leave from jukungs, traditional Balinese fishing boats that take no more than three people, and the school aims for one instructor per two divers. Fun dives cover the USAT Liberty, Coral Garden and Drop Off in Tulamben, Jemeluk Bay and wall, the Pyramids, the Japanese wreck and the Boga wreck.

The centre has a swimming pool, an air-conditioned classroom and a rooftop terrace. Refresher dives are done in the sea, in a sheltered spot, rather than in the pool.
