About Tamarind Divers

Tamarind Divers is a small, locally owned PADI Dive Center at Villa Wayan on Tamarind Beach, opened in 2016. The shop sits on the sand, with a restaurant and bar above, about five minutes from Mushroom Beach.

It dives from purpose-built 12 m fibreglass boats with twin engines, oxygen and radios. Rental gear is Scubapro and Aqualung with 5 mm full-length wetsuits. Lunch is on the boat, and transport around Lembongan to and from your room is free. Its site list runs from Manta Point and Crystal Bay to the north coast, Karang Sari and Sampalan.

In mola season it teaches the PADI Mola Mola Awareness specialty. It has adopted a reef manta called Goecy with the Marine Megafauna Foundation and gives MMF researchers free boat places when there is room. It is also a Trash Hero refill station.
