About Sea Familia Dive Academy

Sea Familia Dive Academy opened in Labuan Bajo in 2022 at Famindo Hub on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, after its founders started the academy in Jakarta in 2019. It calls itself an academy to signal its focus on training.

It teaches PADI and NAUI courses from Open Water to Divemaster and Instructor Training, plus DAN first aid. Instructors run skills checks and safety briefings before each dive.

Charters run on a small liveaboard fleet: the red sailed phinisi Radhia Nitya, Magia, Prana and Neomi. Trips reach Tatawa Kecil and Castle Rock for advanced drift dives, and Manta Point, a gentler slope for newer divers and mantas.
