About Simon's Reef

Simon's Reef is a coral slope off the Gili Islands, Lombok, with healthy hard coral cover and plenty of reef fish. Gentle to moderate currents make it a popular drift dive.

The reef runs from shallow coral gardens at about 6 metres to deeper rocky outcrops at around 22. Triggerfish and grouper are regulars, and green sea turtles pass now and then.

It is rated beginner on Scubalo, and a little drift experience helps you enjoy it.
