About Papua Explorers Dive Resort

Papua Explorers Dive Resort is a PADI 5 Star eco resort of overwater bungalows on Gam Island, in Raja Ampat's Dampier Strait. It is built in traditional Papuan style and has run with a sustainability and community focus since 2012.

Stays are full board, with diving, kayaking, bird watching and a spa. The resort's boats dive the Dampier Strait, including Cape Kri.

The bungalows are naturally ventilated, with fans rather than air conditioning, and there is 4G signal. Guiding runs in English, Indonesian, German, French and Italian.
