Batara Baruna is a liveaboard dive operation sailing out of Labuan Bajo rather than a shore-based dive shop. On board, an SSI team of instructors, divemasters and guides leads fun diving and certification courses from Open Water to Advanced and specialty level.

Itineraries cross Komodo National Park, taking in Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Tatawa Kecil and the manta channel at Makasar Reef. Sleeping inside the park cuts travel time, so divers wake up close to the morning's first site. The operation is based at Jalan H. Ishaka 88 in Labuan Bajo and holds a 5.0 Google rating.
