About Gili Medas

Gili Medas is a small island west of Kuta, south Lombok, with rock formations dropping to 35 metres on its southwest side and a shallow soft coral garden to the northeast.

Gili Medas is a small island off Lombok's south coast, west of Kuta. Its two sides dive differently. The west and south sides drop quickly to depth, with large rock formations covered in hard coral down to about 35 metres. The north and east sides are much shallower and flatten into a soft coral garden.

Eagle rays and blue-spotted stingrays are seen here, along with a school of barracuda, fusiliers, sweetlips and groupers.
