About Jimmy's Walls

Jimmy's Walls is on the remote southeast coast of Lombok, just outside the bay near Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp in the Telong Elong area. A shallow plateau at 8 metres leads out to two walls separated by a slope.

On the plateau, reef fish and lobsters live among soft corals. The walls are covered in coral from the shallows down, hiding critters and nudibranchs, and schooling bumphead parrotfish, passing eagle rays, mackerel and trevally swim along them.

A gentle slope with its own mini wall leads back up to the shallows, where coral catsharks hide under the corals. The eastern wall is little explored, because the usual current pushes divers the other way.

Jimmy's Walls connects to two other sites: Bommyland, with big seamounts covered in glassfish and lobsters, and Bikini Bottom, an underwater sandy beach used for training. Mild currents make it a site for beginners and experienced divers alike.
