About Magic Mushroom

Magic Mushroom is a coral covered pinnacle off Gili Trawangan, Lombok, rising from the sandy seabed in the shape of its namesake. There is a swim through at its base, and schools of reef fish circle the bommie.

Around the pinnacle, coral gardens hold green sea turtles, white tip reef sharks and nudibranchs. It is one of the most photographed sites in the Gili Islands.

The top of the pinnacle sits at about 5 metres and the reef around it slopes to roughly 18. A gentle to moderate current makes it a comfortable dive for most certified divers.
