About Crystal Divers

Crystal Divers opened in Sanur in 1996 and describes itself as Indonesia's first PADI Career Development Center. It has trained divemasters and instructors since.

Facilities include a training pool, classrooms and an on site hotel. The team teaches in English, Danish, German, French, Indonesian, Spanish and Mandarin.

Daily trips go to Nusa Penida, Padang Bai and the USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben, with kids programmes and technical diving. The shop takes part in Project AWARE conservation work.

When is the best time to dive Bali?

Bali is dived all year. April to October, the dry season, usually brings the calmest seas and best visibility. Mola mola visit Nusa Penida from about July to mid November, peaking August to October.
