About Alor Diving La P'tite Kepa

Alor Diving La P'tite Kepa is a small resort on Pulau Kepa, an island off Alor Kecil in the Alor Pantar Strait. Cedric and Anne opened it in 1998, and Tom and Yle run the diving today.

Guests sleep in traditional huts or bungalows, with three meals included each day. Alongside scuba diving there is freediving coaching and snorkelling.

Most days have two morning dives from a wooden speedboat with a roof deck and toilet, crossing the strait to reefs, walls and slopes. Afternoon and night dives can be arranged. Strong, shifting currents feed the reefs, so site choice and timing matter. Bigeye trevally, dogtooth tuna, Napoleon wrasse and hammerheads pass through, while rhinopias, pygmy seahorses and frogfish live on the reef.
