Ambon Dive Explore is an SSI center on Jalan Sultan Khairun Djamil in Laha, on the north side of Ambon Bay. It runs training courses and fun dives and rents equipment, and the shop is open from 8am to 5pm. Being at Laha puts it beside the best known muck ground in the bay, so dives start minutes from the door rather than after a long boat ride.

The center lists muck, coral, wreck and cave diving among what it offers around the island. The rubble slopes at Laha hold psychedelic frogfish, rhinopias, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp and nudibranchs. Reef days head to the sea fan archway at Pintu Kota and the chimney at Hukurila Cave on the south coast.
