About Secret Bay

Secret Bay is a black sand muck and macro site in a quiet stretch of the Lombok coast. The water is shallow and calm, and the sand is home to rare and unusual critters.

With minimal current and an easy shore entry, dives here are long and slow. It is a favourite with underwater photographers looking for nudibranchs, seahorses, frogfish, pipefish, octopus, cuttlefish and pufferfish.

The depth stays between about 5 and 12 metres, and the bay works as a night dive as well.
