About Ambon Dive Explore

Ambon Dive Explore is an SSI dive shop on Jalan Sultan Khairun Djamil in Laha, on the north side of Ambon Bay. It runs courses and fun dives, rents equipment and is open from 8am to 5pm.

Being in Laha puts it beside the best known muck site in the bay, so dives start minutes from the door. The rubble slopes hold psychedelic frogfish, rhinopias, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp and nudibranchs.

The shop also lists coral, wreck and cave diving around the island, with reef days to the sea fan arch at Pintu Kota and the chimney at Hukurila Cave.
