About Ambon Blue Rose Divers

Ambon Blue Rose Divers has worked out of Laha, on the north shore of Ambon Bay, since 2007. The shop is close to Pattimura Airport, so divers can be in the water soon after landing.

Its guides dive the muck slopes that start almost at the door, where frogfish, ghost pipefish, mandarinfish and unusual octopus live on dark rubble. The team is known for macro work, and the Ambon frogfish is what brings many photographers here.

Day trips around the island go to wall and cave sites: Pintu Kota, with its sea fan covered arch at about 15 metres, and Hukurila Cave, a reef chimney on the south coast. Equipment is provided.
