About Mawun Inside

Mawun Inside is a pair of protected reefs in Mawun Bay, south Lombok, from 2 to 12 metres: hard coral over white sand on one side and a soft coral slope on the other.

Mawun Inside is two protected reef sites in the bay at Mawun, west of Kuta on Lombok's south coast. The right-hand reef starts at about 2 metres, with hard coral formations on white sand down to 9 metres. The left side is a soft coral slope to about 12 metres.

The usual reef fish are joined by octopus and stingrays. Shallow and sheltered, it suits a first dive.
