About JJR

JJR is a pair of steep pinnacles west of Kuta, south Lombok, forming a labyrinth from 8 to 35 metres, covered in soft coral and huge sea fans, with Napoleon wrasse and barracuda.

JJR, west of Kuta on Lombok's south coast, is two steep pinnacles close together that form a labyrinth from about 8 to 35 metres. Both are covered in colourful soft coral and huge sea fans.

Fairy basslets swarm over the coral, and there is plenty of macro, from shrimps to nudibranchs. Napoleon wrasse and barracuda are not a rare sight, and divers who keep an eye on the blue have spotted manta rays and hammerhead sharks here.
