About Halfway House

Halfway House is a deep coral wall on Lombok's southeast coast, dropping past 65 metres with fans, whip corals and sponges, resting whitetip reef sharks and dogtooth tuna in the blue.

Halfway House lies between Coral Garden and Game Changer on the southeast coast of Lombok near Tanjung Ringgit. Coral Garden's slope, heading south, turns into a deep wall that drops past 65 metres, full of fans, whip corals and sponges.

A torch shows whitetip reef sharks resting in the overhangs, with octopus and many kinds of nudibranch. In the blue there are dogtooth tuna, schooling skipjack, snappers, batfish and eagle rays. It can be an advanced dive, though newly certified divers can join when the current is mild and the guide agrees.
