Blue Hole, off Belongas Bay in southwest Lombok, is a cave entered at about 17 metres that opens into a huge cavern reaching 35 metres, with an exit at 10 metres onto a coral garden.

Blue Hole, also called Batu Merah, lies off Belongas Bay in southwest Lombok. The entrance to the cave is at about 17 metres. Inside, it opens into a huge cavern whose deepest corner is at 35 metres, and divers leave by an exit at about 10 metres that comes out onto a colourful coral garden.

A torch helps inside. Jacks, sweetlips, surgeonfish and reef sharks are seen around the site.
