Are Guling, west of Kuta in south Lombok, is a sandy slope with rock formations leading to a flat coral garden at 15 metres of table, leather and soft corals and big sponges.

Are Guling lies west of Kuta on Lombok's south coast. A sandy slope with interesting rock formations leads down to about 15 metres, where a flat coral garden begins: a mix of table corals, leather corals, soft corals and big sponges.

Lobsters and other crustaceans hide in the rocks, with stingrays on the sand and moray eels in the coral.
