Dive Center Description
Nilaveli Diving Centre is a multi-award-winning PADI 5 Star IDC dive resort on Nilaveli Beach, opposite Pigeon Island Marine Park near Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. Part of the group behind Unawatuna Diving Centre, it has collected several PADI Green Star awards since opening in 2000.
Diving covers Pigeon Island's reefs and the rock sites around Trincomalee, with night dives, deep dives and snorkelling trips, plus whale and dolphin watching in season. Staff teach in English, German, Czech, Sinhala and Tamil, and the centre holds a 4.8 rating from about 300 reviews.
