Site description

Mandolin lies in the strait between Bunaken and Manado Tua, where the seabed plunges hundreds of meters and strong currents attract pelagic life. Divers here regularly encounter Napoleon wrasse and bumphead parrotfish, with occasional dugong sightings, alongside a resident school of snapper and a wall covered in large sponges and sea fans.
