Site description
Batee Tokong is a rocky pinnacle off the northern tip of Seulako Island, about 10 minutes by boat from the Gapang and Iboih area of Pulau Weh. Its sloping walls are covered in hundreds of colourful sea fans and gorgonians at every depth.
The site is famous for its density of moray eels of several species, reef sharks, schooling devil rays, barracudas, tuna, trevallies and rich macro life. Currents can be strong, sometimes circular, making it best suited to advanced divers.
