Dive In Alor was the first SSI Dive Centre on the island. It stands on Jalan Kalabahi Kokar north of Kalabahi, a row of blue-roofed rooms above a stony shore with its own boat moored offshore. The team mixes locals from the Alor region with dive professionals and sells diving and accommodation together. It says it was born from a shared love for the ocean, adventure, and the magic of Alor.

The season runs March to December. The centre dives walls, caves, sloping reefs and dark sandy bays, choosing sites for safety and comfort over the heaviest current. Kalabahi Bay is the sheltered option, its black sand holding nudibranchs, seahorses, cephalopods and the elusive rhinopias. Out in the strait there is pristine coral, plus hammerheads, reef sharks and rays. Water sits near 27C but thermoclines drop to 16C.
