Site description
Rubiah Sea Garden lies on the north side of Rubiah Island within the Rubiah Marine Park conservation area, about 5 to 10 minutes by boat from Iboih beach on Pulau Weh. Its colourful shallow coral gardens slope gently from snorkeling depth down to around 30 metres.
The relaxed conditions make it a favourite for courses, check dives and easy reef dives. Regulars include honeycomb morays, turtles, stingrays, nudibranchs and flatworms, ghost pipefish, leaf scorpionfish, giant clams and dense reef fish life.
